Hi to all IMAC pilots!

The 2015 IMAC Season in Sweden consisted of 6 Competitions in various areas which were held from May to September. At the end of the competition season, the Swedish Champion is Crowned using the best result of four (4) out of six (6) Competitions.

We also had a Nordic Championship, this year and Denmark was the host of the final contest for the year.

During 2015, we had about 40 pilots competing in IMAC  in Sweden. These pilots are spread through the classes but the Intermediate class has been where the majority of the pilots fly. Next year we are planning to open up the Unlimited class. We really hope there are some of the pilots in the advanced class who want a new challenge and will consider moving up.

Some words about the Nordic championship.

Teams from three countries attended the event. Sweden, Norway and Denmark competed at Lindtorp airfield in Denmark.

At the Nordic Championship, there was almost full teams in all classes. This consisted of 3 pilot per Class and country.

Sweden came out on top as Team in front of Norway and Denmark,

14 year old Felix Scander won both Advanced and Freestyle, becoming the youngest Nordic Champion ever.

Norway will host the 2016 Nordic Championship.

In 2016 Swedish IMAC celebrates 10 years. This is a great accomplishment for us and we were proud to have represented our country last year at the first IMAC World Championship in Muncie Indiana USA.

Med vänlig hälsning/Best Regards

Michael Scander
