OK I was going over the Clover Creek website and I am a bit confused, as ussual!

For the normal IMAC portion it says there are only 9 slots per Class available. From what I can see those 9 slots are only available to the 2009 Intermediate National Champion, 2009 Intermediate TAS Champion, 2010 Advanced National Champion and the Regional Points Leaders for Sportsman thru Unlimited as of 01 Aug 2010.

Is this correct? No one else can compete? Notcomplaining just looking for clarification.

Do you recruit helpers for beeing Scribes ahead of time like at TAS?

I do believe you have it correct.

I know there are a bunch of us in the SE trying to be one of those guys.

I do not know about recruiting, but come on down, the pictures do not do the CCA justice.

There is an open IMAC contest - Basic through Unlimited - in the odd years. So any IMAC member can fly in that contest. And we had a blast in 2009

Ever other year it is an invitational contest,,,,,,,the IMAC part will not count towards regional points because of that reason. The other years that it is an open IMAC contest it will be open to anyone and the points will count.

Come down make a vacation of it. Camping is available, no hook ups. In the IMAC Open last year of the 36 registered pilots only 2 stayed in a motel, the rest camped.

Sure... plant the seed... that's ALL I need! I camp at most IMAC contests I attend. I find a 7 man tent is just ideal for one person! LOL!

John,

Thanks for the invite.

I'll give it some serious thought and decide soon as I will have to book vacation. Good news is it's Labour Day that weekend so Monday is a Holiday and I'll book Tuesday as well to leave time to get home.

Officially starts Wednesday then? Monday and Tuesday for practice? Or if I showed up with a plane I might bwe able to get a flight or two before everything starts? I'll deffinitely let Wayne know well in advance if I can help out.

With no TAS this year this will deffinitely be the place to be. Course if I come down there I'll have to miss the NCFR Finalls a few weeks later. Come on MEGA MILLIONS this Friday. Our verssion of PowerBall Lottery. It's up to $50M + at least an addition 9 x $1M prizes. Oh and we get it all at once up here..... and TAX FREE!

Ted

Ted,

Are you thinking of heading down to Clover Creek?

Bryn M mentioned something about it but I think he is gunning for NCFR Intermediate Points Champion. He' ll have some stiff competition!

OK I'm confused again, nothing out of the ordinary!

On the Clover Creek website in one section it says the event happend Sept 2 - 5 with Sept 6 as a rain date. Yet in another site it says the competitionr uns Friday, Sat & Sun, ( Sept 3, 4 & 5th.)

I want to come down to help and I am trying to book holidays so I am trying to figure out what is the starting date, Sept 2nd or 3rd? I need two days to get there so just rying to figure out if I need to arrive on Sept 1st or 2nd?

Wayne is a little busy right now worying about more imprtant things so I don't want to bother him.

I looked on FG but there is nothing posted yet about CC 2010 so I came back here to find out the skivvy.

Regardss,

Jim

OK T thanx.

I guess I better plan to be there by Wednsday afternoon.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm lets see I have an IMAC competition in Sudbury - Northern Ontario on Aug 28/29 then have to be in Toone on September 1st. What the hey that's only 20 hours / 1171 miles if I go straight there. If I go home first for one day its an extra 6 minutes and a couple of miles.
