Once again the hospitality of John and Tina Schroder is opening up Clover Creek Aerodrome 3&4 March 2012 so we may have a Judging School in our part of the Region.

We will start at 8am Saturday 3 March 2012 with the Classroom work, with the practical exercise Sunday morning at 9am.

Please remember to bring your favorite folding chair to sit in during the Sunday morning practical.

There is a motel tab on the Clover Creek web site - http://www.clovercreekaerodrome.net/hotels.html

If you have a 2011-2012 Competition Regulation please bring it.

We will have rules and binders available for the first time attendees. You may down load a set of rules at www.mini-iac.com/Portals/0/Downloads/Rules/SA2011Small.pdf

IMAC Members - $30
Non IMAC $40 which will provide you an IMAC Membership

Limited camper hook up availability, electric only; call me to reserve yours.

Please use the main entrance and stay on the pavement. This time of year the ground can be very wet. A decision to drive on the grass will be made that week.

Tina said we may use the cook house grill Friday and Saturday evenings, so bring something to burn.

This time of year it could be calm, breezy, or just windy with temperatures 20 to 70 degrees; be prepared.

Come early and stay late so you may fly. I will be there Thursday 1 March to take advantage.

Go to http://www.mini-iac.com/RegionsNA/Southeast/SENewsEvents/tabid/62/Default.aspx and sign up today.

The Clover Creek Judging School is now listed on the North Central, South Central, and Southeast 'News and Events' page. THANK YOU RDs

Wayne Mathews (Silver Fox Road Warrior), Wil Berninger, Marian Berninger, Dan Baker are all lined up to teach.

So if your Region's school is closer, by all means go, but if Clover Creek is more convenient - COME ON OVER

I will be at Clover Creek two weeks from today to get things ready for the Saturday 3-4 Mar 12 Judging School, and of course FLY FLY FLY.

We have a phenomenal group of instructors lined up - Will Berninger, Marian Berninger, Wayne Mathews, Dan Baker, and then there is me.

There is even a rumor our Invitational CD, Joe Cutright, will be coming to join the North Central, South Central, and Southeast folks already signed up.

So, mark your calendars, get the kitchen pass (permission from your wife), and come on over to a flying facility from which dreams are made

It is Judging School Eve.

I am hear at Clover Creek, and got some good flights in Yesterday as did some other early arrivers.

Hey, I want to see everyone here for a GREAT school, but LOOK AT THE WEATHER. Be safe; depending on where you are coming from it could be an ugly drive.

Gil put on a wonderful judging school this past weekend up at Clover Creek! Boy, what a fine facility All the presenters did a really great job. The flying portion Sunday morning was EXTREMELY beneficial! Will B and John S flew some great sequences and parts of sequences to show us students what a "perfect" maneuver looked like then flew the same one with common mistakes. It was great.

Something that we all learned was the way snap rolls are supposed to look as per the rule book criteria!! Very informative!!

The last bit of flying done was Will flying the Intermediate sequence with all of us bunched together so Marian could critique our scores versus her and Kurtis W's.

This was the first non-south central judging school that I have attended. I am glad to see that the rule book criteria were taught the same way in the SE region as they have been in the SC region. Imagine that!!

John and Tina were terrific hosts.

Great to hear...
That is the purpose of the National schools...
the last one was in Dallas/Fort Worth..
If I remember You were there Bobby!

There were representatives from all regions there and that is the idea... so all of us take the same "interpretation" back to our regions...

the whole Idea is so that you can fly the cajun classic down there in Louisiana, then roadtrip to the Pacific Coast Championships, then road trip to Ocala, Florida... and around and around... and then end up in Muncie at the National Championships... and everywhere you go... you are judged by the same criteria...

Glad the school went well!
