First up is the J'Tec. this is a 1 1/2 year old 2.7meter Extra with a updated TMM 106cc engine. Futaba servos throughout, A123 batteries and MTW cans that were installed yesterday. Graphtec Carbon Fiber tubes and gear, Biela 25x10 3 blade prop. Slight Hanger rash. Next up is a Hanger 9 46% Ultimate. Plane only has 40 flights on it! DA 150 with incowl mufflers. JR 8711 servos throughout. Was inadvertantly bumped, resulting in minor damage. Selling this one for a friend. Doc |

I like the 3 blade prop on the J'Tec.... Do you think I can re-balance it? W |

Thad, I'd offer you some spare parts for yours, but there is nothing left that is usable besides the wing bolts. Wayne, Those Biela's can be a little tricky to balance! Kent, The 3w logo was messed up, but I'll save the rest of them for you. Glad to hear you'll got out this morning. I did take the Yak up after that mess yesterday and flew through the sequence a couple of times, I was a little shaky at first, but I actually flew them pretty well. Doc |

Thanks, It wasn't anything that spectacular, 2 separate accidents. In my case, my superpower x-ray vision got blinded by the kryptonite (also known as the sun). It came out knife edge, low and nose down. I almost saved it before I ran out of altitude. We think the Ultimate had a voltage problem (lack thereof) and it went in with no control. He missed the pond in the back of our field by about 100 feet! It looked like it was going to get wet for a good while there. Doc |

Thanks guys! That was a rough day at the field! Al, I'll let you know how that buffing works out for me. hehe. This seems to be a recurring theme for me, get a new IMAC plane, setup 3d rates on the older plane, crash older plane! Good thing that I never 3D MY IMAC PLANE. Maybe those cans I got from Kurtis were cursed (just kidding Kurtis). Worse part is that I just told my wife that I wasn't going to buy any new planes this year, guess the Aeroworks Ultimate gets promoted to backup plane again. Doc |

Doc James- Do you still have thoose wing bolts? I lost one Tuesday. I put a regular M6 bolt for now until I can find a replacement. |

Look in the tail Jerry. You may find a surprise back there. Happened to me too. |

I did look in the tail, but it was gone. It did fly around back in the tail for a while, as I was practicing my hammerhead turns I had a twitch in the rudder. On the up line I had the same thing. I thought I had a problem with the plane so I landed and checked everything out. When I saw the missing wing bolt I deduced that the wing bolt was bouncing around the tail and hitting the pull pull cable for the rudder. It must have finally fell out the opening where the cans are installed. I’ll see you in Elm city.
