Ok Ok... So every time I explain to non flyers or non IMAC competitors how we run things they are soooo confuse why we dont have it set up so if you go to regionals and you win regionals you go to Nationals and so on!
I know a couple reasons why we dont do this. But was wondering what you guys thought!
I know we have such events as Clover Creek and Tucson, but that is a lil different.

I think one of the biggest reasons is weather that we have in the northern regions! They just seem too chicken to fly in the teens! lol! jk jk. I cant stand 40 degrees!

o yea and traveling!

This is something I have ALWAYS wanted but you would have to send your regons top pilots to someplace warm for the nationals and each region would have to raise money to send them say the top 2 from each class.

Would be nice! Maybe IMAC will keep growing and this could happen sometime in the near future. Its possible!

We have the same problem here in Canada EH... way..way..way up north!

Our "Nationals" ar in end of July but even then we only have 2 maybe 3 contests under our belt before the NATS happens.

You guys hold your NATS even earlier in July!

For the type of NATS you are talking abou they would have to be held in FL in December, after ALL the Regionals are done.

It seems thow, like here in Canada, the NATS belong to the AMA and ANYONE who is a member can fly in them so they hold them when they want because it is considered it's own Contest NOT requiring any Pre-Qualification to participate in.

Just my thoughts and I'm NOT saying their thinking is wrong... or right...... JAFO!
