Guys I saw this from another site and received a phone call that Ed passed away early this morning.

I don't know anything else. Prayers to him and his family.

In honor of Ed I'm going to fly the rest of the year with a black line through my AMA number. In respect to Ed as a person and fellow pilot.

Godspeed Ed!!!

Rick....I did not know Ed personally, however, our IMAC family is now one member short.
Deepest condolences to his family from us.

Godspeed Divesplat!
I never met Ed, but had several online conversations with him. He was strong member of the rc aerobatics community and will certainly be missed.

Ed has been a staple in our region for many years. I've personally known him since 2001, and competed with and against him many times.

Ed was always in great spirits and defined the term "laid back"

The thing that will ALWAYS stand out when I think of Ed, is they way he carried himself after being diagnosed. He remained ever positive and upbeat, knowing what fate had in store for him.

Blue Skys buddy!

Dan, we'd like to send a note to the family. Could you help us on this, with an address, or if you feel , please handle this, as i didn't know him however the imac family has lost a great man today. Sounds like another American Hero, and Great Man.
Respectfully
Don
