Greetings to All Members:
As we turn the corner on this flying season, I'd like to bring to your attention a few thoughts. As you are aware your BOD has been working nonstop, with projects like:
- Monthly Meetings with minutes, and reports (twice a month for several hours each)
- New Website development (Thanks Roy)
- RFAs
- RCP
- NATS 2009
- Score Program changes
- Membership Daily Business
- International Membership
- Rules Committee
- Sequence Committee
Sadly, I report the resignation of Bruce Handley from the IMAC Rules Committee. Under Bruce’s capable leadership, the Rules Committee designed, discussed, wrote/rewrote, and delivered more than 20 Rules Change Proposals to the Board of Director’s review process. We will miss you greatly but many thanks for your dedicated service to IMAC.
Looking ahead to 2010, we, as a Board, have many more projects in front of us and several new goals/discussions:
- Complete reworking of the IMAC Budget
- IMAC Membership required for all classes above Basic
- NATS 2010
- Educational Videos with Aresti Families.( I'm seeking volunteers here)
These are just a few of the things on the Board’s plate. Stay tuned for more "goodies" as we finish out this year!
Again, I'd like to thank the Executive Officers and the Regional Directors for their hard work this flying season.
