I have been flying model airplanes since I was 11 years old. Throughout my life, its something I have never really taken a break from. I wish I could say Model Airplanes kept me out of trouble when I was a kid but, my parents would argue that point. I look at it as I would have been in deeper trouble without the distraction of flying RC.

I have flown everything from Gliders to Helicopters to Quickee 500 racers. In my 30 years of RC, nothing has held my attention the way IMAC has.  I enjoy the people we see every weekend throughout the summer and I love the competition aspect of our part of the hobby.

I am employed as a Corporate Pilot for State Farm Insurance Company. I have been married to my wife Karen for 13 years and she and my two daughters completely support my obsession with IMAC. I am very lucky.

NC Judging School – Make Plans Now!
NC Judging School – Make Plans Now!

Ken Mcguire, Marian Berninger and Will Berninger have decided to put on the 2009 Judging school for us. I know I speak for everyone when I say THANK YOU! I also want to thank Kurt Koelling and Tom Wheeler for hosting our judging seminar for us the past several years. They definitely deserve a break. Dates are listed in the NC schedule. If you have not attended a seminar, please try and make it to this one. Its the best way to ensure consistent Judging and will REALLY help you with your flying.
