Overall, there were 13 pilots flying in the Rapid City Imac Event contest. In no particular order they were: Gene Jobgen, Jim Tiller, Doc McGuigan, Clancy Kingbury, Zac Roller, Bob Olson, JOhn Kellogg, Ken Corrin, Clint Outka, Wade Outka, Rod Renz, Donald W Burnap and Gary R Cole. These pilots flew a grand total of 108 judged sequences.
This contest was flown according to standard IMAC rules.
Zac Roller won the Basic class. There were 9 pilots in Basic. The winning order was: (1) Zac Roller, (2) Gene Jobgen, (3) Clancy Kingbury, (4) Doc McGuigan, (5) Clint Outka, (6) Jim Tiller, (7) Wade Outka, (8) Rod Renz and (9) Bob Olson. They flew 4 known sequences (2 rounds). The scores ranged from a low of 1,166.5 to a high of 3,000 (a range of 1,833.5 points).
The tightest competition was for 6th place in the Basic class, with only 37.5 points difference between Jim Tiller and Wade Outka.
