August has come and gone. We had two contests here in the Southeast – Mocksville, NC and Williamson GA. This month, we have three contests. The first was this past weekend at Clover Creek Aerodrome in Toone, TN. It was a 3 day contest that I was not able to attend but I hear it was a really good contest and everyone that was there had a great time. John and Tina Schroder always take really good care of their guests, wish I could have made that one ! Next, we have a contest in Daytona FL on the 12th and 13th followed two weeks latter by Camden SC.
We have only 5 more events in October and that will end our seasons point race for this year. I’ll be hosting a regional championship contest inviting the top 10 in the points race from each class to go to Jacksonville Fl. So there is still plenty of contests left here in the SE to get the points needed to make the top 10.
