New DA170 with MTW 110 Cans, Nine inch headers. Mounted on a 44 pound Composite arf extra 330. Currently have a 32x10 mounted. Question is what is the best IMAC prop for this setup? I have read on some sites that a 29x12N three blade is very good but want to get some help on this before I order a $200 prop. Confused

I am using a 30x14 Falcon on my DA170 but I have Slimline pipes. That was the prop everyone here suggested and it works well for me.

Same setup as yours Joe on one of my AW Yaks. Though not 44 lbs I bet! We will assume under 55lbs though.
Finally settled on a Mez 30 X 13Evo and love it!

2 blade I prefer the 30x13 Falcon, 3 Blade 29x12 Falcon. I own and have tried equivalent Mej props. The 29x12 Falcon pulls like a tractor and the down line braking is awesome also slightly quieter than the Mej 29x12N.

No, I'm not sponsored just a Falcon fan boy.

Three blade - Mej. 28.5X12S or 29X12N. I have used the 28.5X12S for three years on my piped DA170 and love it.
Two blade - Mej. 30X13 Evo. Pulls better than the 3 blade but will howl on you if you don't watch the throttle on down lines and level flight.

The Mejzlik 3 blade 29-12N will be The Best prop you can have on your plane and engine.
Nothing is coming close to the all around performance.
I flown that set up for several international contest and the plane is like a rocket but smooth and gentle.
Im using only that prop on all my airframes for IMAC.
