What do you think Ty? You've been doing a great job but don't have (that I can see) a designated discussion area.

Thanks I thought I had seen it somewhere. The Education section is outstanding. Next step, adapting it to a flexible on line judging course for those with crazy schedules.

Hey Daren,
We had a "Education" forum on the old site, as Doug mentioned here the "Compete" forum essentially fills the same roll...different title. The online Judging School video series is posted in the education section, scroll to the bottom of the page, or click here: Judging School Video Series.

Oh, I've seen your handy work on the education section- well done. I just had a senior moment on the location of the education discussion. All good.
Thanks for taking the ed dept. to the next level. Not to be over reaching but any plans to bring that to a true on line judging seminar with evaluations? It's great that Brad does the online class and I completely understand the interactive nature but perhaps utilizing your layout now it could be adapted to a program those of us with varying schedules and a desire could take advantage of to increase the trained judge ranks. Just thinking out loud.

Ty and I have discussed this. In fact considered it for International Judging School. But the logistics are many to get a recorded Judging school in video format. And then how to adapt practical's is a whole other obstacle. At an actual school you have many discussions that lead away from the material itself. I refer them as "Rabbit Holes" as many other instructors as well do. We had thought at some point actually doing a scripted "Studio Version" if you will, of a school and material. We have not eliminated the idea, and it is on a "Future Goal" to be accomplished. Right now however the regions have already begun their schedules as in the SW and SE and recently in SC and NW have begun. Just will take some time to again address the logistics and have the time to put together. But not forgotten.
