Greetings fellow IMAC friends. The Cincinnati Burnit Challenge is once again stocking up on food, supplies and of course things to burn at the campfire.
Thanks very much to Rob Willis for stepping up to supply some smoked Pork for dinner. I will try to have something else available for those that can't eat Pork Saturday night.
Plans are in the works for side dishes and such but we may need your help! Stay tuned the next few days while the plans solidify.
We have shaded parking and camping, with water and very limited electric. If you need to run your air conditioners plan to be self sufficient please.
We are of course flying the alternate sequences as in previous years as well as unknown flight order for Sunday morning shall be reverse order of pilot sign in Saturday morning, again, as every year at the Burnit!

Field will be open Friday for practice and as alway, no flying internal combustion before 9:00 A.M. at the Cincinnati Aeromodelers field.
There is a river close by if you wish to bring some fishing gear and spend some time relaxing by the water.

If you have something that can be burned "legally" please bring it to share your story Saturday night (crashed planes, bits, something cool...). No fireworks or explosive materials shall be thrown into the fire!

Directions are listed on the IMAC contest page.
More details to follow!

I'll be there Friday for practice. If there will be only one flight line, I'll sign up on Saturday.

My second Xpwr 60cc motor just blew a seal on the rear bearing, so I'm not sure I can fly my big Extra, unless EF comes through with another replacement this week.

Well we hope you get your engine repaired regardless of if you make it to the contest or not.
The decision to run one or two flightlines won't be made till we determine the pilot count and population of classes. Sometimes folks wait to sign up for personal reasons, sometimes for WX reasons and so on. It may be a hybrid of sometimes one, sometimes two...
Thanks and hope to see you there.

Extreme Flight just shipped out a replacement motor for my Extra, so I'm happy about that. Looks like I'll be swapping out a motor Friday afternoon, when the forecast is calling for rain/thunderstorms anyway.

Looks like there will be enough pilots to require two flight lines. Will they be on the same runway? Will: any chance you can run just one flight line (in between the other classes) for the Basic pilots? Where are all the Basic pilots? I don't see any signed up.

That's great, Joe! I hope he can make it.

I had a senior moment with my plane after my last flight last night and ended up busting a prop and my ESC. So I'll be up late tonight soldering in a new ESC. I may not get to the field as early as I had hoped tomorrow. New motor is supposed to arrive tomorrow afternoon. It's going to be a busy 24 hours.

See you there!
