After reviewing the contest schedule, I noticed the Hebron contest that I attended last season was not listed. Will it be added to the schedule?

Moose mentioned that there was a scheduling conflict this year due to the AMA site being really busy in September and having to move the regional championships up to the 15/16th of September. He said that the Hebron contest could be scheduled for the prior weekend of 9/8/18.

Unfortunately, the IMAC World's are from 9/4/18 to 9/8/18 and as the IMAC World Team Manager, I cannot do both so unfortunately it is not possible to have an IMAC contest this year unless it can be scheduled early in the year. I will speak with Moose and keep you updated.

Thank you,
Ray

The following are open:
5/12
6/9
8/4

Posey cancelled but that's the same weekend as Kurt's, so not an option.

I'm sending out an email tonight to the other CDs that haven't scheduled their contests yet.

Southern Indiana Flying Eagles 5/5/18
Propbusters 6/2/18
Tri State 7/28/18

I looked at the calendar and 6/9/18 might be a good choice. This date is sandwiched between Michigan and Canada which are both Northern, contests. I also heard the farmer is planning to plant corn this year so earlier in the season when the corn is shorter is preferable. Please let me know if this is a good date and I will make it happen.
At the last meeting the club president said he is going to ask the farmer if he will consider not planting corn in keyholes on both ends of the runway if we give up an equal amount of acreage somewhere else on the field to help takeoff and approaches as late in the season the corn gets pretty tall.
Thank you,
Ray

Since the Flying Cardinals IMAC event is where I got started and is a great site for competition, I too hope it will continue this year.

Could someone fill me in on the history of scheduling the NC Regional event? Does it have to be in September, as opposed to October? Maybe 2017 weather was an exception, but we had temps in the low 90s, so I wouldn't mind a later event when the weather is cooler.
