Good Afternoon Southeast Region,
I have sure missed you guys in the Southeast region over the past few years. Everything is going great in the Southwest region. I am working hard trying to put on my second Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. Many probably already know, but I am running for Vice-President of IMAC. This is a friendly reminder that your vote counts!

If anyone would like to discuss anything about what I plan to do as VP please do not hesitate to call, email, or PM myself! Below is a link of the candidates with their bio and how to vote! Thank you Southeast Region!

This may be the wrong forum to post my thoughts on, feel free to tell me the appropriate space for this.

VOTE KEVIN GARLAND
We have no choice for president as Mr. Karnes has no one to run against him. We do however have a great opportunity to get young fresh ideas in at the VP spot. I would like to put all of my support behind Mr. Kevin Garland! I believe that getting young blood and a fresh outlook in the VP role is paramount for the future of IMAC! For too long we as an organization have been held captive by IMO, stagnate thinking and views on the IMAC BOD. Based on recent post's on the forums by the opposing candidate I do not see how we could possibly vote him in as the VP, he is a loose cannon with no true vision to take us to the next level! Mr. Garland has proven he has the drive and self motivation to get IMAC going in the right direction. What I like best about Mr. Garland is how humble he seems to be about his accomplishments. I have never seen him on the forums pandering for a pat on the back or professing to everyone how great of a job he did! He lets his actions speak for him. I do not know either one of these candidates personally, just basing my thoughts and opinions on what I read in the forums! Think long and hard about this people!

Kevin Garland is the right choice for the position of VP.

HE...is the type of future that IMAC needs. I fully am behind what Kevin can do and also accomplish in the Executive spot. We need to move ahead, and he certainly has indicated some of the areas he would like to tackle. IMAC now has lost so many members that they need to take a serious look at the future.

The members in the SE should remember the way that Kevin conducts himself and has progressed in aviation over the past decade. We should support Kevin as a visionary! THAT is what is sadly lacking within the organization.

A visionary is the key word! Fireworks at the Nationals is not what I would consider out of the box thinking to drive participation up at the NATS. We need fresh ideas and forward thinking from new blood. I would never discount the time and effort that Doug has put into our organization over the years. Moving around and making a bunch of noise doesn't always equal progress, sometimes the person is just treading water! We need a new set of eyes on the BOD!
