Just talked to Mark. He is sore but doing OK. They did not have to keep him overnight. I'm sure he is laying around making his wife wait on him. Phil

Thanks guys! I'm back at work but my throat and butt hurts !!!!! Feel like this is my second day in prison !!!!! I'm back to work today so I can pay these doc bills !!!!!! There a new DA !!!!!! My butt feels like they shoved a 4x4 up it, I'm not taking any pain meds so I can get back to work and I feel like I was hit by a car ! Sorry I'm not going to make it to Kent's contest I really want to be there, see ya'll soon. Mark

I drew a spinner in Pro-E, exported the profile into BobCad, posted a Tool path for the lathe, and turned a 4 1/2 inch aluminum spinner. Well, this is just the model; I will pull a mold and fab up a Carbon fiber spinner for my Extra. I thought you being a tool and die maker you could relate to a good day at work.

On the left is the aluminum model that I designed and turned in our CNC lathe. The next part over is a fiber glass mold I pulled off of the model. I then made a plug that is offset .050 smaller than the mold. I also cut the end to put enough material for the counter sunk bolt that will hold the spinner in place. On the right is the carbon fiber spinner just after I pulled it out of the mold. It was in the oven for 8 hours and cooled for 3 hours. I also made a carbon fiber back plate. Next I will trim the edges and fit the back plate to the spinner. Okay Mark- Hope you a healing up.
